FAQ

SIZE & WEIGHT

+

The saw blade is 12" and the handle is 13-1/2"L x 1-1/2"W x 1/2" D. It weighs in at a mere 6 oz.

ARE THERE OTHER SIZES/COLORS

+

We don't have multiple sizes or colors yet, but we do plan on offering them in the future. But for now, since all reciprocating saw blades are the same size, you can put any saw blade 12" or smaller on the handle. The handle can be cut to any length to accommodate the blade.

If you don't have the ability to customize it yourself, contact us below and for a small fee we can do it for you.

HOW TO USE

+

The Warder™ is a pull saw and is designed to be use in that matter. To use the Warder™ simply unfold the blade from the handle. Identify the location on the log for the desired cut. Using a tight grip on the handle, use light passes to pull the saw blade across that spot until a groove has been formed. Once a groove has been established, deeper pressure can be applied. Ensure that the pressure on the blade is only when pulling the saw and a firm grip is held the entire time. Putting too much pressure when pushing can cause the blade to bind, bend, or even worse slip out of your hand and harm you. Always be careful when using the Warder™ as the teeth on the saw are very sharp and can cut you or others quite easily. Fold the Warder™ blade when not in use to protect the blade and others. As always, be careful when using the Warder™ and stay safe in the woods.

Warder LLC is not responsible for any damage resulting from the misuse of the Warder™ or any accompanying product. Failure to closely follow the instructions or safety warnings could lead to injury or death.

MAINTENANCE

+

Cleaning and care - Clean any sap, dirt, or debris off of the blade and handle using soap and water. Dry off with a towel to prevent any rust or corrosion for forming.

Storing - Ensure that the saw is clean and store in a dry location for maximum longevity. Sap, dirt, and moisture can cause the metal parts of the saw to degrade and shorten its lifespan.

Blade replacement - Use can use almost any 12 inch standard reciprocating saw blade to replace the stock blade provided with the Warder™. It is recommended to use a blade designed to cut brush and one that has teeth oriented to cut on the pull stroke. Using either the thumbscrew tab, a flat head screwdriver, or coin remove the screw at the top of handle to take off the old blade. Align the hole in the new blade with the hole on the handle and insert the screw. Tighten the screw until the blade has enough resistance to not open or close on its own. Optionally, a mild thread-locker can be applied to the screw prior to insertion to keep the screw locked into place.
